Go Doggy Hike Club is a structured, small-group hiking experience designed to provide mental stimulation, physical exercise, and safe socialization in a natural outdoor setting.

Dogs are naturally pack-oriented animals, and our hikes are designed to tap into that instinct. By moving together as a balanced pack, dogs gain confidence, feel more secure, and naturally enjoy following and learning from one another.

Led by our trained team, dogs explore scenic trails together while remaining safely managed at all times. We focus on calm energy, proper leash manners, strong recall, and respectful trail etiquette — creating an enriching experience that supports both behavior and well-being.

Our Approach

Every dog is introduced to the pack in a structured, safe way:

• New dogs begin on leash to build trust and assess behavior

• We then transition to a long line (extended leash) to safely practice recall

• Once ready, dogs may progress to off-leash hiking in a controlled environment

We offer both on-leash and off-leash hike options, and dogs can remain on leash for the entire hike if preferred.

Our goal is to build reliable recall within the pack setting, reinforce calm behavior, and allow dogs to move naturally together — because dogs truly love following other dogs.

Is Your Dog a Good Fit?

Because this is a structured group activity, not every dog may be eligible to participate. To ensure the safety and comfort of the entire pack, dogs joining the Hike Club must:

• Be comfortable and well-behaved around other dogs

• Have good leash manners and walk calmly on leash

• Be able to remain calm and manageable in a group environment

• Be non-reactive toward dogs, people, and wildlife

• Be in good physical health and able to handle a 2–3 hour hike

• Be comfortable riding in a car

• Be up to date on vaccinations and tick prevention

All dogs may be evaluated by our team before joining to ensure the pack remains safe, balanced, and enjoyable for everyone.

If a dog does not meet these criteria, they will not be accepted into the Hike Club.

Additional Requirements

• A signed waiver is required prior to participation

Spots are limited to ensure quality supervision and individualized attention.
